Floors damaged by water
Water can quickly cause damage to floors in homes and business. In the first picture it is clearly visible where the flooring is starting to warp and buckle. Near the door you can actually see where water is under the laminate and starting to lift the laminate. In situation where water has set on laminate, or vinyl flooring for extended amount of time, no amount of drying will return the flooring to pre-water damage condition. The after picture shows the flooring removed. It is very important to get water off laminate, vinyl, or hardwood floors as soon as possible to prevent water from being absorbed. If your home or business has a water damage, be sure to call SERVPRO of Meridian as soon as possible.
