Segways at SERVPRO?

At first glance, it may look as though our crews are playing around on Segways or something similar. But actually, they are using The Rover Extractor. This extraction machine uses the operators own body weight to extract water. With the rover more water is removed so that drying times are decreased. You can see by the video how water travels down the tubes out to the truck mount engine. Weighted extraction is used when attempting to dry the carpet in place. Which is a great method of restoring the carpet rather than replacing.
